WELCOME to the volunteer activities section. Listed below are some organization that I have volunteered forwithin the past three years. I hope to add a few more in the comming years.

Collect and deliver food from the farmers market. |
| Project Size : |
Each session would be attended by four to eight volunteers. Output from the activities varied from seasons. In summer output averaged 700 to 1500 pounds while in winter it averaged 200 to 500 pounds. |
| Skills Developed: |
- Team Work : The project involved performing sets of tasks which had to be distributed and coordinated with the volunteers.
- Leadership / Management : Since tyhe project was volunteer based, each session was attended by new volunteers. Each volunteer had to be oriented, directed and managed.
- Networking : Due to the highly dynamic nature of the project, it provided an excellent opportunity to network with individulas from different socio-economic backgrounds, ethnic backgrounds, occupation, age etc. Many of the volunteers were second year college students.

Assist in tutoring basic computer and software skills. |

Each project was attended by three to five volunteers. Average classes ranged from 7 to 12 students. |

- Project management and planning : Each session covered a specific area in personal computing. Material and content preparation was a requisite.
- Teaching / tutoring : Individuals had to be tutored and directed on an individual basis.
